2) Create Your Strategy & Generate Early Wins

Upon agreement, we’ll kickoff with a bang, spending the first 60 days setting your team up for long-term success. In this time, we’ll complete the following:

  1. Creation of your inbound marketing strategy: Having the right strategy is critical for aligning your team and setting your company up for long-term success. A complete inbound marketing strategy includes your defined goals, personas, and messaging, and well as defined plans for your website, content, promotion, lead generation, and more. Progress is discussed weekly and your full inbound marketing strategy and first 90-day roadmap is completed within 6-8 weeks.
  2. Implementing activities that generate ROI within 60 days: Our strategists use heuristic analysis to quickly identify and implement activities that often lead to measurable marketing improvement within the first 60 days. Whether it’s optimizing your site for search and conversions or implementing a contact re-engagement campaign, IMPACT has a bank of proven techniques that pay themselves within the first 2 months. This work is done alongside the development of your long-term inbound marketing strategy.
  3. Team education: We’ll provide your team with a series of workshops and trainings aimed at establishing the fundamentals of inbound marketing, setting clear expectations, inspiring company participation, and ensuring you’re ready to successfully launch and lead a culture that will transform your business results.
  4. A plan for creating content: If you’re struggling to create content that drives traffic and leads on a consistent basis, we’ll turn that around in your first 60 days. We’ll train your team, help you get the right copywriters involved, and help you implement the same processes and quality standards we use here at IMPACT that drive monster results. Within 2 months, your organization will publish four of the best long-form, traffic generating blog articles you’ve ever produced.
3) 90-Day Cycles of Implementation, Measurement, and Learning

Influenced by models such as The Lean Startup by Eric Ries and The Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) by Gino Wickman, and proven effective over time, IMPACT has adopted a clearly defined 90-day cycle for implementing marketing activities.

  • Implementing the 90-Day Roadmap. Every 90 days, a new roadmap is created, which outlines the quarter’s objectives, ideas to achieve those, campaigns / projects to be completed, and 3-month action plan, complete with timelines and responsibilities. We’ll work with you to co-create the roadmap because “The whole is greater than the sum of it’s parts” and when you’re part of the process, everything is better.

    The amount completed by IMPACT is dependant on your budget, which can be adjusted anytime. IMPACT provides monthly GamePlans that breaks down the roadmap activities that will be completed and clearly defines, in points, how your budget is being used. Activities typically include the production of campaign content, campaign promotion, and website updates as well as routine activities such as blogging, keyword research, site optimization, content promotion, social media, performance analysis, and more.
  • Measuring Success. The performance of all activities implemented are measured using tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, Hotjar, Wistia, and more. On a macro level, we’re defining your program’s most important metrics and leading success indicators and regularly updating your monthly scorecard. On a micro level, we’re looking at all of the details in split tests, emails, usability tests, traffic sources, and much much more. Your IMPACT strategist dedicates up to 10% of analyzing the data and adding future campaign ideas to the backlog.
  • Learning & Continuous Improvement. Before presenting recommendations for the next 90 days, we’ll perform a retrospective on the previous quarter’s activities. This allows us to discuss key learnings, understand what worked and what didn’t, and utilize our findings to fuel smarter ideas for the upcoming quarter. The faster we learn, the more we learn. The more we learn, the faster we grow.

  • All activities in our service catalog have a pre-determined point value. For example, copywriting for a 1000 word blog post is 3 points, creation of a landing page is 5 points, etc.
  • The size of your package determines your monthly point allocation. For example, a $9,900 / mo. package includes 90 points per month.
  • Every month, IMPACT will supply you with a GamePlan that clearly defines how your points are being used.
